Kylemore Abbey and Victorian Walled Garden is located in Connemara, County Galway, Ireland. It's a gorgeous day trip. With it's mountainous backdrops, gothic architecture, working gardens, and beautiful wildlife, you may want to make this a two day trip. The gardens alone, could fill a full day of meandering.  I'm looking forward to returning in the future.

The gardens are true working gardens, covering roughly 6 acres, includes flower beds, glass houses, gardeners' houses, and the kitchen garden. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon meal made with ingredients from the kitchen garden. Truly a treat!
